Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms weren't planned out well, lacking basic amenities like hooks and lights in the closet areas. However, the room named after Dwight Eisenhower was great, and the service was top-notch. The advertising about free amenities like water, popcorn, and breakfast didn't match up with the actual availability.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were incredibly spacious and had a full leather sofa, which was a delightful touch. The décor was beautiful, the beds were super comfy, and I felt like I had all the privacy I needed. However, the bathroom was not as big as I expected. The service was top-notch, and the food was exceptional. The only downside was that the check-in process took a bit longer due to the chatty staff. The location couldn't be better, right across from fantastic restaurants in Chanute and within walking distance of historical sights and walking trails. It was also convenient for road access to Iola. The dining experience was great, with a delicious selection that included biscuit sandwiches and various drink options. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel.
When I arrived at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room that was much more than I needed, complete with a large flat-screen television and a super comfortable bed. It didn't look like the pictures on Booking's offer page, but I was blown away by the thoughtful touch of having a fan just 5 inches from the bed, which I found amazing.
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel in Iola. The rooms were not bad, and I could find options with double beds for the price of one room with two beds. However, the shower was extremely small, and the bathroom overall wasn't much bigger.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and had the basics like a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, but there were some issues like the lack of a TV guide and no proper lighting in the closet areas. The promise of free amenities like water and breakfast didn't quite meet expectations.
